Awards

Since 1987 the JHTA has operated an annual Awards Programme which recognizes individuals and entities which have made outstanding contributions to Jamaica’s tourism industry. Currently the awards are:

• Abe Issa Award for Excellence.
• Hotelier of the Year.
• The President's Award.
• Hotel Manager/Supervisor of the Year
• Tourism Employee of the Year
• EXIM Bank Award to JHTA Small Hotel of the Year
• The Lifetime Achievement Award
